‘Step Up 3D’ Soundtrack Gets Two Versions, Features Estelle, Chromeo, Busta Rhymes, Trey Songz & More

Yeah, we are definitely not the right market, age group or temperament for this, but “Step Up 3D” is coming and there are more than a few people who eager for another film of wild dance moves coupled with drippy melodrama.

Despite the quality of the films, in the soundtrack department, no expense has been spared for any of the films thus far, and that’s the case again here. While this stuff is definitely not in our iPods, fans of the films will be more than happy to hear tracks by Estelle, Flo Rida, Trey Songz and Busta Rhymes. And hey, Chromeo made their way on here? Not bad.

Anyway, the soundtrack will land in stores on July 27th in two separate editions: a standard soundtrack release and a Latin American version which is mostly notable for having less songs. Not sure how that worked out, but it probably has to do with boring, byzantine licensing issues. “Step Up 3D” dances into theaters on August 6th. Complete tracklisting after the jump.
