And even better, season two is around the corner. On May 5, 2017, the next batch of “Sense8” episodes will arrive, continuing the story from the first season across 10 new episodes. Here’s the official synopsis:

Picking up where season one left off, Capheus (Toby Onwumere), Kala (Tina Desai), Lito (Miguel Angel Silvestre), Nomi (Jamie Clayton), Riley (Tuppence Middleton) , Sun (Donna Bae), Will (Brian J. Wright) and Wolfgang (Max Riemelt) come together both physically and mentally, plunged into the middle of each other’s tragedies and triumphs. On the run from Whispers (Terrence Mann), and forced to question their very identity, it’s a matter of survival as the Sensates must find a way to live with, understand and protect one another against all odds.

Critical reception was initially mixed to “Sense8,” but Netflix has used their magic algorithms to determine the audience is there for a second go-round. Will you be watching? 1. Fuck critics! I loved this series! It was clever, it was unique. It was funny as hell sometimes, dramatic as hell others. It featured a wonderful array of characters that you couldn’t help caring for AND a concept that was really it’s own. Critics nowadays need to go back to film school (If they ever went) and see just how well this series was crafted. Plus you’d think a series about people all over the world from different cultures uniting mentally would be a dream for these people nowadays. LOL Unbelievable!
