Kevin Smith’s buddy cop film, “A Couple Of Dicks,” is starting to amass an impressive comedic cast. Two more actors, Seann William Scott and Adam Brody, have signed-on to star in the picture, THR reports.
The film follows the story a maverick cop (played by Bruce Willis) and his partner (Tracy Morgan) as they track a valuable stolen baseball card, tangle with a memorabilia-obsessed gangster and rescue a Mexican beauty who holds the key to millions in laundered drug money.
Scott will play a thief known as the Shit Bandit for the souvenirs he leaves at his robberies while Brody plays a detective not happy to be working with Willis and Morgan.
‘Dicks’ reportedly began filming in May with a tentative release date of January 29th 2010 (not the greatest release date in the history of all time; early year is always dumping ground season, though perhaps this is safe counter-programming). The Robb and Marc Cullen-scribed film will also mark Smith’s first directorial effort not based on his own writing.
