Scripter Awards Nominees

The USC Scripter Award, which honors both the original script and adapted screenplays based on existing work has announced this year’s nominees, as follows: “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” – Eric Roth
“Iron Man” (four writers, listed, ugh)
“The Reader” – David Hare
“Revolutionary Road” – Justin Haythe
“Slumdog Millionaire” – Simon Beaufoy
As AD notes, “The Scripter doesn’t often match up five for five at the Oscars but last year, the adapted screenplay nominees for the WGA matched the Scripter five for five.” [AwardsDaily]
