While the official soundtrack details for “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” have already been revealed — and we’ve given it a track-by-track review — there is still a whole bunch of music that is not represented on the upcoming release. Director Edgar Wright tweeted a few months ago that we might get a two-volume affair which would potentially included the confirmed contributions by the likes of Cornelius, Dan ‘The Automator’ Nakamura and Kid Koala, not to mention the staggering 21 songs Beck penned for the film.
While we wait for details on when we might get to hear those additional tunes, we will get a few Beck-sung versions of the Sex Bob-Omb tunes he wrote in the upcoming deluxe version of the soundtrack. While Marc Webber (aka Stephen Stills) sings the tunes in the film and on the regular soundtrack, we’ll get to hear Beck work his way through the lo-fi, Times New Viking-inspired “Garbage Truck,” “Summertime” and “Threshold.” We dug all of the tunes in their fuzzy, rough-edged glory and the iTunes sneak peek of “Summertime” sung by Beck (which you can also buy right now for 99 cents) sounds pretty great. There is also a bonus video in the release of The Clash At Demonhead playing “Black Sheep” (and performed on the soundtrack by Metric) but is only available for those who pre-order the album.
The deluxe edition soundtrack will be an iTunes exclusive release and it will be available on the same day as the regular, physical edition on August 10, 2010. “Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World” goes into bonus levels on August 13th.

The three extra tracks don't seem to be worth calling it "Deluxe Edition" to me. And it's a pity that people who didn't pre-order miss out on the video.
Any chance of a more worthy Deluxe Edition, that includes some of those missing tracks you mentioned, coming out?
