Brett Ratner (who just put out a book of Scott Cann’s photographs on his Rat Press imprint): I love [Scott’s] photographs. You’ve gotta see the book, I swear, or I wouldn’t have published it — it cost me a fucking fortune, but Scott has such an eye. He’s not trying. It’s just his perspective from growing up in Hollywood as a child of an actor and then an actor himself. That’s what makes him unique. Scott has such a specific point of view; he shoots what he’s interested in.
Movie Line: For example?
Ratner: It’s a lot of naked girls — which I like, too — and a lot of actors that he’s worked with. A naked girl is not just a nude. Look at the lighting, the way the light hits her face. Look at the way he’s having her pose. He sees something specific, and that’s why I thought I would do it. And I call it Vol. I because he has so much work call it Vol. I because he has so much work. If we sell out of these books, we can make a Vol. II.
– Brett Ratner proves once again he’s nothing but a classy, classy guy with dignified art holding the highest value in his life. [

I love how much hate people have for Ratner. It’s so much fun to read.
you’re welcome.
Tristan, the asshole deserves every bit of it.

Product Description
This book exposes the raw photojournalism of actor/writer/director/photographer Scott Caan, chronicling his work thus far. This series of unapologetic photos is directed at art connoiseurs, young Hollywood voyeurs, fashionistas, and street-obsessed youth. Scott’s passionate, and gutsy, attitude has distinguished him as a photographer and allowed him to compose intimate images that are without question inaccessible to the masses.
I see Ratner butchers english like he butchers movies.
..and I love the implication that Caan is “deeeep maaan!!”
“The masses just ain’t ready for this heavy shit maaan!”
