While Michael Bay and Shia LaBeouf haven’t been shy about shit-talking former “Transformers” co-star Megan Fox, the actress is quietly building up a comeback. She’s landed a role in Judd Apatow‘s “Knocked Up” spinoff “This Is Forty,” she’s got the indie dramedy “Friends With Kids” also on the horizon, and now she’s going to be popping up in one of the biggest comedies of next year.
THR reports that Fox has has been drafted by Sacha Baron Cohen‘s “The Dictator.” Along with John C. Reilly, the two will make cameo appearances in the film, but of course, just how they will factor into the story is under wraps for now. Co-starring Ben Kingsley, Jason Mantzoukas and Anna Faris, the film is described as a cross between “Coming to America” and “Trading Places,” with Cohen playing both a goat herder and a deposed foreign dictator who gets lost in the United States. Kingsley will play a Middle Eastern character, with Mantzoukas slotted as a sidekick and Faris as the love interest and owner of an organic food store.
The film is already in front of cameras with numerous looks at Cohen in character already hitting the web. Larry Charles is directing with the film set to hit theaters on May 11, 2012.
Haha whenever you link every word in a sentence to something different, I always read it like \”ALREADY. HITTING. THE. WEB.\”
was there a time when cameos were not ruined?
