Starring Ryan Reynolds, Jake Gyllenhaal and Rebecca Ferguson, from the pens of “Deadpool” writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, and directed by Daniel Espinosa (“Safe House,” “Easy Money“), the action takes place on board an international space station where things start going very, very wrong. Here’s the official synopsis:
Life tells the story of the six-member crew of the International Space Station that is on the cutting edge of one of the most important discoveries in human history: the first evidence of extraterrestrial life on Mars. As the crew begins to conduct research, their methods end up having unintended consequences and the life form proves more intelligent than anyone ever expected.
“Life” opens on March 24th.
Wait, what? Did they move the release date back to March again? It was originally set for March and then they moved it to May 26th, which put it a week after Alien and on the same weekend as the new Pirates. I knew that was a bad move, so this isn’t surprising in the least.
