They haven’t even shot a frame of "Captain America: Civil War," but it looks like Joe and Anthony Russo have their schedule for the next few years mapped out. The pair are already tipped to direct that bro-tacular "Ghostbusters" spinoff/reboot with Channing Tatum over at Sony, but it seems they aren’t done with Marvel yet.
The long running rumor that the siblings will helm the two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" just inched closer to confirmation, with The Wrap confirming the Russos closed their deal to direct both movies. The plan will be for both to shoot back-to-back in 2016 and 2017. There’s no word yet if that Ghostbusters gig, tentatively slated for a 2017 release, would also be squeezed in during that period but given the timeline, it’s extremely unlikely they’d be able to direct that picture. The filmmakers recently signed a first look deal at Sony, but given their Marvel obligations, it may be quite some time before we see a Russo brothers-directed Sony movie.
While there’s nothing official on this from Marvel, the tea leaves seem to say that the baton is being passed from Joss Whedon to the Russos. Thoughts? You know where to leave ’em.

While I am not the biggest superhero movie fan, The Avengers is really THE BEST of the bunch, next to the first Iron Man. The Avengers is awesome, mostly due to Whedon, but still.
Mr.T and Murdoch are just pissed that The A-Team movie was a flop.
Comics are for children and so are these films. It\’s all drivel.

idea: nobody go see the new avengers movie nor the ghostbusters one and hope superhero movies die a slow death. these movies have zero moral complexity and are based on stories designed for ten year olds. even YA stories are more complex, believable, and compelling than superhero crap.
