It appears that Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, previously rumored to be Megan Fox’s replacement in “Transformers 3” isn’t quite locked in, but has become the front runner for the role. However, other models turned actresses Brooklyn Decker and Sarah Wright are also among the final candidates to fill in Megan Fox’s jean shorts.
The role, which will require intensive research and rehearsals is absolutely central to “Transformers 3,” which can’t be made without it. Of course, we’re joking. The film is actually already filming, but the love interest scenes with Shia LaBeouf won’t start shooting for two weeks, and director Michael Bay apparently has a week to make his decision, leaving the potential “winner” of the role one week to rehearse their lines most of which will be variations of “Look out!” mixed in with mumbo jumbo about Autobots and Decepticons.
So, who will get the role? Does it really matter? It’s not like appearing in these movies leads to better gigs or Oscars (sorry, Megan). But, let’s hope there are no more major cast changes, because it might make Tyrese Gibson cry.
Meet the new girls, same as the old girl.
Actually, I suspect MegaFox has more moxy than these bland blondes. Time will tell.
