As we know from the trailers for "Captain America: Civil War," Spider-Man and Iron Man are buddies and fighting on the same side, so it only follows that he’ll pop his head into the webslinger’s solo joint.
Indeed, Robert Downey Jr. has joined "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and that means Iron Man won’t die in ‘Civil War,’ and probably nothing too bad will happen otherwise to him. He’ll be joining Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, Marisa Tomei and Zendaya in the Sony and Marvel co-production, but there’s no word yet on how big RDJ’s role will be, nor any plot details for the picture. However, one actor you won’t be seeing? Michael Keaton. Courted to play one of the villains, he’s since dropped out.
Directed by Jon Watts ("Cop Car"), "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will open on July 7, 2017. [Variety/Deadline]
Does anyone know what role he\’ll be playing. Maybe the villain. oooooh
