Today, Hollywood continues to reel from the tragic news that director Tony Scott took his own life over the weekend. While he shared collaborations with many of Hollywood's brightest talents and biggest stars, none were as close, creative or deeply meaningful as those with this brother Ridley Scott. The pair put their names behind Scott Free, a production shingle responsible for dozens of TV shows and films, allowing the brothers to develop and manage projects they were both passionate about. Tony's absence is undoubtedly a great loss, and understandably, Ridley is taking some time to grieve.
Production has been halted for the rest of the week on the currently shooting "The Counselor." Brad Pitt, Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz, Rosie Perez and more star in the film penned by Cormac McCarthy about the titular prosecutor who dabbles in the drug trade leading to violent consequences. Set pics had emerged in recent weeks as production had gotten underway, and there's no word yet on when cameras will roll again.
Updates today revealed that Tony Scott may have been led to suicide following the news that he had inoperable brain cancer. Whatever the reason may have been, for those who have thought about ending their life or know someone who has those feelings is encouraged to called the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255.

Very sad story. Tony Scott will be remembered along with his work. Very responsible journalism to list the phone number of the National Suicide Prevention hotline, this story needs it. Seriously anyone considering suicide please call that number first, there is always another solution.
Very grown up of you posting the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. That is something that Adults would do.
James/Llon: you will think different when you mature and love someone other than yourself.
Junping off a bridge doesn't strike me as something you do thinking of your loved ones.
Obviously a sincere post, but select a different photo of the man.
