Of all the series that Marvel Studios has announced for Disney+, the one that seems to have the least amount of “HOLY SHIT!”-esque buzz is probably “WandaVision.” Let’s be real, Scarlet Witch and Vision are clearly B-listers in the MCU. Don’t @ me, just being real. They’re great, of course, but not Cap, Iron Man, Thor, or Black Widow, right? So, Marvel Studios is going to make “WandaVision” must-see TV by filling out the cast of the series with some incredible actors.

We already know that the series is set to star Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany, naturally. And at San Diego Comic-Con, we found out that the little Monica Rambeau from “Captain Marvel” will be all grown up and appearing in the series. But at D23, it’s been revealed that Marvel Studios has dug into its bag of tricks and announced that Randall Park will be showing up as his “Ant-Man & The Wasp” character, Agent Jimmy Woo, and Kat Dennings will be returning to the MCU after a long absence (she’s been missing since “Thor: The Dark World”) as Darcy.
But wait! We haven’t even gotten to the best news.

“WandaVision” will also feature the MCU debut of none other than Kathryn fucking Hahn! Details on her character are hard to find, but she’s being described as Wanda’s “nosy neighbor” which feels like a ’50s sitcom trope taken out of “Leave It To Beaver.”
So, if you’re like me and “WandaVision” seemed to be the least interesting of the MCU shows on Disney+, this is likely going to change your tune. Now, with this sort of ensemble, “WandaVision” is going to be one of the most anticipated streaming series for the whole damn Disney+ service.
Is it bad that Scarlet Witch and Vision are suddenly the least exciting people on their own series? Oh well, bring on the Hahn. “WandaVision” is directed by Matt Shakman (“Fargo” and “Game Of Thrones“), the head writer of the series is Jac Schaeffer who has already worked with Marvel and wrote “Black Widow,” and the show will appear in the spring of 2021.
