Raaaaaaaandy Teams With Dave Sitek To Blow A Mixtape All Over Your Face

According to Aziz Ansari, there are only three things you need to know:

1. Y’all ain’t ready. 2. Motherfuckers need to know. 3. Get yo’ shit.The actor and comedian’s alter ego, Raaaaaaaandy is currently working with TV On The Radio’s Dave Sitek, The Have and DJ Granwizerd on a hip hop mixtape that will drop sometime in February.

Ansari has never kept his love of hip hop a secret. Back in September, the comedian released a pretty hilarious “remix” of Jay-Z’s “Hate,” where he takes those annoying DJ blurts on mixtapes to some manic degrees.

As for Raaaaaaaandy, the character that first appeared in “Funny People” and inexplicably proceeded to become some sort of Internet phenomenon, this is all just a build up to his own feature length film. As we previously reported Ansari and his Human Giant writing buddy Jason Woliner recently sold three pitches to new BFF Judd Apatow, including a Raaaaaaaandy spin off. We thought the fifteen minute mockumentary was kind of enough, but we’ll see if they can come up with something that will sustain a full length.

Ansari will next be seen in Nick Stoller’s “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” offshoot, “Get Him To The Greek” starring Russell Brand and Jonah Hill. His standup special “Intimate Moments for a Sensual Evening” debuts January 17th on Comedy Central and hits CD and DVD on January19th. Finally, he’s also starring in NBC’s “Parks & Recreation” which we’re telling pretty much everyone we can to watch this season. The show hit its stride hard this year and is way funnier than whatever they’re doing on “The Office” and the overrated “lets-put-in-a-guest-star-each-week” “30 Rock.”
