Justin Timberlake got the night going with “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” and the lively performance paved the way for the rest of the musical numbers, which were mostly solid. Auli’i Cravalho, the 16 year-old star from Disney‘s “Moana,” did a nice job with “How Far I’ll Go” (with a little intro help from Lin-Manuel Miranda). John Legend completely slayed the Oscar winning “City Of Stars” from “La La Land,” while Sting delivered the mostly forgettable “The Empty Chair” which is about all we needed.
