With a little over a month until the release of the Jonathan Levine-helmed adaptation of “Warm Bodies,” the first four minutes of the zom-rom-com have arrived, courtesy of Fandango.
We were in the minority that thought the premise seemed silly when the first trailer premiered but see for yourself with this preview which gives a better sense of the overall tone. Based on the best seller by Isaac Marion, the film centers on Nicholas Hoult (“X-Men: First Class”) as the zombie R who falls in love with the very human Teresa Palmer and begins to turn back into a person because love heals all or something.
We’ll try to keep an open mind for the film, it certainly seems more inspired than the higher-budgeted “World War Z,” and it's always was nice to see Rob Corddry, grunting or not. The film opens on February 1, 2013. Check out the opening scene below.
