The newest trailer for Nicolas Cage’s thriller “Knowing” has hit, a slightly modified version of the one they showed at NY Comic Con, and it hints at the massive carnage in this film. It also does a good job selling the film as having another trademark open-mouthed Nicolas Cage performance. The guy was born to look bored in prospective blockbusters. Anyway, as far as Cage movies go, the trailer places this somewhere between “Next” and “National Treasure,” but at least director Alex Proyas (“Dark City”) is aboard, so its bound to be better than the silly, silly premise of a doomsday-predicting time capsule.
