Got a Tip?

New Posters For ‘Premium Rush,’ ‘The Impossible,’ ‘The Campaign,’ ‘Resident Evil’ & ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’

nullWith "The Dark Knight Rises" around the corner, lensing on his directorial debut "Don Jon's Addiction" underway and "Looper" and "Lincoln" due to be unveiled this fall, Joseph Gordon-Levitt is up for quite the year. And there's one lesser, JGL-starring vehicle that's certainly making the most of his presence: David Koepp's"Premium Rush," which now has a fresh new poster. The film looks, at best, like a fun little thriller, and sees the actor play a bike messenger who gets hold of a the wrong package with Michael Shannon on his tail. The film hits theaters on August 24th. [RecentMoviePosters]null

It's been five years since Juan Antonio Bayona broke out with psych-horror "The Orphanage," but the Spanish helmer returns this year with "The Impossible," a drama centering around the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami disaster, starring Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts. Shot in late 2010, the film has taken a while to reach its October 26th release later this year, but it's one we're greatly looking forward to. Below are two new posters from the pic, each featuring one of our two leads. [Fotogramas]null

"You'll only need pictures of Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis to sell a film starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis." That seems to be the philosophy behind marketing for Jay Roach's "The Campaign," and they're probably not wrong. The comedy-giants star as rivals trying to win an election to represent their small North Carolina congressional district in the United States House of Representatives. Laughter will surely ensue. Is it just us or is it kinda odd that Roach has followed the Sarah Palin HBO drama "Game Change," starring Julianne Moore, with this? [RecentMoviePosters]null

Led once again by the husband-wife pair of Paul W.S. Anderson and Milla Jovovich, the "Resident Evil" series' third film, subtitled 'Retribution,' now has a new banner poster to flaunt around. The story sees Jovovich fight alongside a resistance movement in the continuing battle against the Umbrella Corporation and the undead. While we have no idea what any of that means, you can bet on a lot of a leather-clad Jovovich fighting and firing guns in slow motion. [WhatCulture]null

Lastly, we have a new poster for Marc Webb's "The Amazing Spider-Man," which our recent review noted "feels like a good romantic drama (or dramatic rom-com) struggling to get out from under a poor superhero flick" but that "there's also enough here to make it a fairly pleasurable watch." Not exactly convincing, but how can you can go wrong with the lovable duo of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone? [RecentMoviePosters]null
