While most of the promo material thus far for Walter Salles' "On the Road" have played up the steamy, sweaty, summery aspects of the film, Dean Morirarty and his pals also do a bit of winter traveling. And with the movie now just around the corner after hitting Cannes, getting recut, and unspooling once again at TIFF, a few more pieces of promo are here to get the word out.
EW has debuted a brand new poster for the movie that essentially compiles a bunch of stills from the film in a tasteful collage with a bit of aged paper treatment. It's nice, but it's no "Killing Me Softly." Meanwhile, the film's Facebook page has unloaded one more new still of Garrett Hedlund doing some winter driving in one of the movie's livelier and more memorable sequences. And as you can tell, even in that driving snow, Dean's spirit is indefatigable.
"On the Road" rolls down the windows on December 21st.
Je prefer this version of poster, thanks.
