Matthew Vaughn loved the Bond series, but when he couldn’t finagle his way into making one of those films, he decided to start his own “Kingsmen” franchise. Low and behold it worked and the third film in the series, a prequel called, “The King’s Man,” is heading to theaters this December after multiple Covid-19-related delays.

The cast of this one is rather stacked and the film features Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, Rhys Ifans, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, with Djimon Hounsou, and Charles Dance. Set in the early years of the 20th century, the film show’s the origins of the Kingsman agency, which is formed to stand against a cabal plotting a war to wipe out millions.
