It seems that Denis Villeneuve doesn’t like downtime. After shooting “Enemy” and “Prisoners” back to back, he’s already at work on this next movie, the sci-fi drama “The Story Of Your Life,” which is expected to shoot this fall. But before that, his first collaboration with Jake Gyllenhaal, “Enemy,” will arrive in theaters this spring, and we’re not kidding when we call it one of the 21 Best Films Of 2014 We’ve Already Seen.
Co-starring Mélanie Laurent, Isabella Rosellini and Sarah Gadon, and based on the novel “The Double” by Jose Saramago, the story follows a sullen, increasingly paranoid teacher who believes he’s found his exact doppelganger, and starts to try and figure out who exactly this person is. And the result is a rather stylish thriller, one that we called “a gripping slow burn portrait of the male id/ego, our self-destructive tendencies and how they control us.”
The good folks at A24 will release this on March 14th, but to get you ready, here’s a batch of new images from the movie. [Gotham News]

Looks crippy and intriguing.
I can wait for the trailer!!. When will it be released??
Goddamn I'm so hyped for this. The only thing that bugs me is the latest poster for the movie. It has stark red and black coloring but it looks nothing like the film. I liked the old one where it had a side shot of gyllenhaal's head with the city fading into his brain with that spider walking through the buildings. But I the executives dont see the green in it
It seems that Jake Gyllenhaal doesn't like downtime. After shooting "Enemy" and "Prisoners" back to back, he wrapped "Nightcrawler" last November and will soon start working on "Everest".
All a matter of perspective…
