So, just how high was the security around the revival of “Twin Peaks“? No one read the full, admittedly huge, 400-page script. Actors were given the pages with their scenes and that’s about it.
“There isn’t really a need to have everybody read the whole script,” Lynch explained to GQ. “So they get their scenes. And when we work together, they ask many questions, and they get answers.”
“People get what they need,” he added.

So as we draw closer to the premiere of the show, don’t expect any one person to spoil anything. Even Lynch’s collaborator Mark Frost is in the dark. “I haven’t seen the finished product yet. David’s still working,” he told the magazine.
So, we’ll just have these new images from the show from EW to run with, which include David Duchovny as Denise Bryson in the show. That’s certainly an eyebrow raiser, and the first of many more to come.
“Twin Peaks” is back on May 21st.
