Described by some as “Serial” for television, last fall Netflix unveiled the provocative documentary series “Making A Murderer,” and it became an instant sensation, and recently earned an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series. The series also launched a thousand internet debates about the case involving Steve Avery, and it’s not going to stop any time soon.
Netflix has announced they’ve started production on more episodes of “Making A Murderer,” with producers and directors Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos back at work on the documentary. It will continue to look at convicted murder Steven Avery, and his co-defendant, Brendan Dassey, and the ongoing legal battles, with exclusive access to Avery’s new lawyer Kathleen Zellner and Dassey’s legal team, led by Laura Nirider and Steve Drizin, plus families and others involved in the case.
Get ready for more debate as this case is hardly closed. No word yet on when the new episodes of “Making A Murderer” will debut, but 2017 is a safe bet.
They going to actually discuss all the evidence they omitted in the first season?
That’s highly unlikely. This show obtained popularity due to manipulating viewers emotions and showing details that cast doubt on his guilt. Viewers are only interested because they think he’s innocent. If they showed all of the other evidence they’d realize that this scumbag was guilty and the public would lose all interest in watching.
Your a narrow minded nitwit! Everyone can see they are both innocent, the cops being typical cops (biggest crooks going) won’t get away with it in the end.
The only nitwits are people like you who are unable to make up their own minds…
Excuse me… I knew all about this case before it was shown on Netflix, the evidence against them is so weak. Rigged.
I’m narrow minded for not falling for their manipulative tricks? Haha, good one. Looking at the full evidence– including DNA evidence that they withheld on the show, and how clearly demented Steven Avery was in prison, it’s quite clear to me– and a jury of peers– that he’s guilty. Go back to your fantasy land of one-sided stories and believe what you want because Avery will rot in jail, where he belongs, until he’s dead.
I am still able to watch American Netflix abroad using this trick https://goo.gl/H4632
eh, I liked it alot. But this case was discussed enough. Id rather they do a new case every season. More then enough out there to talk about.
