Every year, Netflix does this thing to lay out its upcoming 12 months’ worth of films. It’s like this massive flex, where the streamer released a three-minute trailer with nothing but stars and big-name filmmakers, proving, well, that it loves to spend money on films. And 2023 is no different.
READ MORE: The 100 Most Anticipated Films Of 2023
For this upcoming year, Netflix’s flex trailer showcases several high-profile films that will be arriving. The highlights are definitely David Fincher’s “The Killer” (November), Sam Esmail’s “Leave the World Behind” (December), starring Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, and a number of other A-listers, “Pain Hustlers” (October), starring Chris Evans and Emily Blunt, and “Rebel Moon” (December), “Damsel” starring Millie Bobby Brown (October), and the massive sci-fi epic from Zack Snyder. The latter is clearly given the prime spot in the trailer, showing just how much Netflix understands the Cult of Snyder.
Here’s the 2023 Netflix teaser trailer. Below that Netflix’s official rundown of all their films coming out in 2023, plus some of the first-look images they’ve released. It’s going to be a busy 2023 for the streamer.
