The revival we sort of thought was happening may actually may happen now! After the stars of “Will & Grace” teased us last month with what turned out to be a 10-minute election-themed video (see below), NBC is rumored to be considering a full-fledged revival. Fans of the series have been overwhelmingly supportive of the reunion, and that response has prompted NBC to take action.

“Will & Grace” ended in 2006 after 8 seasons, but now the network is said to be in talks with all four stars (Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, and Sean Hayes), as well as the series creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick. Both McCormack and Messing have expressed interest in returning as the title characters so far.
There’s no word yet on when the episodes would premier or how many there would be. Right now, it looks like the revival would be in the form of a limited run series similar to Netflix’s “Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life” or Fox‘s recent return of “The X-Files.” And given that nostalgia on the small screen seems to be playing quite well (who knew so many people would cares about “Fuller House“?) this could have a decent chance at happening.
