Somehow, against all odds, there’s a market for a third “My Big Fat Greek Wedding Film.” That’s right, Nia Vardalos brings the family back together for “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3” this September. As if the short-lived TV series from 2003 and the 2016 sequel to the 2002 movie weren’t already enough right?

From writer and director Nia Vardalos, the worldwide phenomenon My Big Fat Greek Wedding is coming back to theaters with a brand-new adventure. Join the Portokalos family as they travel to a family reunion in Greece for a heartwarming and hilarious trip full of love, twists and turns. Opa!
Vardalos makes her directorial debut in “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3,” and also pens the script. She stars in the film with John Corbett, Elena Kampouris, Gia Carides, Joey Fatone, and Louis Mandylor. Lainie Kazan and Andrea Martin also star.
Producers for “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3” include Rita Wilson, Tom Hanks, and Gary Goetzman. Executive producers include Paul Brooks, Scott Niemeyer, and Steven Shareshian.
