Got a Tip?

‘Mirror Mirror’ Moves 2 Weeks Back To March 30th; New Look At Kristen Stewart In ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’

nullUniversal and Relativity spent a good part of last year in a pissing match over release dates for their respective Snow White films, but at the end of the day, it all comes down to the movies, and we'll soon see who emerges victorious. Well, sort of soon.

Relativity continues to shift and adjust their calendar and have now moved Tarsem's "Mirror Mirror" back a couple of weeks from March 16th to March 30th. No particular reason was given for the move, but perhaps they needed more time to get the film done (it's already being turned around on an insanely tight schedule) or maybe they wisely decided to get out of the way of "21 Jump Street," which is earning strong buzz already thanks to some advance screenings. "Mirror Mirror" will now find Julia Roberts and Lily Collins facing off against "Wrath Of The Titans" and fighting for family film dollars against the animated "The Pirates! Band Of Misfits."

Meanwhile, a new image of Kristen Stewart in "Snow White And The Huntsman" has dropped over at the Facebook page for the film. Not much to this one except that's it's a soft focus close up on Stewart's face, which should make a certain segment of her fanbase swoon and shriek. This movie is getting quite the marketing push, including none other than Charlize Theron dropping in on "Top Chef" with an entire elimination challenge themed around the flick. All this to say, Theron looks like a totally fun person to hang out with. Call us.

"Snow White And The Huntsman" hits on June 1st.

  1. In an act-off, Charlize Theron would run circles around Julia Roberts. Theron had one of the greatest Oscar wins in history with "Monster" and has consistently proven to be the strongest thing in every film she's in whether they're great (Young Adult), good (North Country, Italian Job) or meh (The Devil's Advocate, Hancock). Julia Roberts' strongest performance was in Erin Brockovich, and yet, it's one of those Oscar wins that you barely remember let alone care about.
