Got a Tip?

Mickey Rourke Will Appear In Everything From Now On Going Forward

Comeback Actor Has Eight Projects On The Go; Can Afford Multiple New Chihuahua’s
Mickey Rourke is wasting not time putting his newly earned Hollywood goodwill and Academy Award-nominee juice to good use. He’s basically signed on for any project with a halfway decent idea. Need an actor and have a respectable budget? Pitch Mickey Rourke. At this point, he’ll sign up to almost anything. Here’s what’s on his docket for the next 18 months (so far). Oh and Mickey, we doubt — unless you have a bender planned that we don’t know about — your good fortune is going to dry up anytime soon, take it easy, dude.

– Most recently he’s signed on for an indie-drama called, “Passion Play.”
– He’s officially signed on to play the villain Whiplash in “Iron Man 2.”
– He has a small badguy role in Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables.”
– He joins Vincent Cassel and Alice Braga in a strip club-sounding drama called, “11 Minutes.”
– He’ll star in Indian director Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s debut Hollywood feature “Broken Horses.”
– Rourke stars in Walter Hill’s indie action thriller “St. Vincent.”
– He’ll eventually appear in the Sundance-reviled Brett Easton Ellis adaptation, “The Informers.”
– The undiscriminating actor is part of- Gela Babluani’s self-made English-language remake of his French thriller “13.”

Extra Credit:
– He was in “Killshot,” but that seems to have come and gone.
– “Sin City 2” will never happen and he doesn’t appear to be interested anyhow.
