Hollywood is apparently weighing its options on packages pitched by stars themselves and hoping up to fill their 2010 line-up (since the writer’s strike will probably make 2009 one of the worst film years ever).
The first reunites Matt Damon and “Bourne Ultimatum” writer George Nolfi in a sci-fi love story called, “The Adjustment Bureau.” It will be Nolfi’s directorial debut and is loosely based on a Phillip K. Dick novel (the great sci-fi writer, who Hollywood has raped for ideas including the basis of “Blade Runner”). Nofli is also writing and is also penning the fourth ‘Bourne’ film. Suffice to say he and Damon have a fruitful working relationship going. Now what she-robot does Damon get to make out with? There’s no shortage of attractive, but leaden female actresses in Hollywood. [Variety]
