Got a Tip?

Very Mad Tyrese Gibson Says He Turned Down A ‘Fast And Furious’ Spinoff With Ludacris

Tyrese Gibson has been pretty livid since getting hit with the double whammy of news that “Fast and Furious 9” was being delayed until 2020, while Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are gearing up for their own spinoff movie in 2019. For whatever reason, Statham is being left off the hook, as Gibson continues to take aim at The Rock, claiming the actor’s ego is tearing apart #thefamily. Johnson hasn’t responded, probably because he’s too busy being a global superstar, but Gibson continues to hang out on Instagram where he’s fired off yet another shot at Hobbs.

This time around, Gibson claims that he was also offered a spinoff movie where he would’ve co-starred with Ludcaris, but turned it down out of respect for the “Fast and Furious” #family. It’s hard to believe Universal would give Gibson and Chris Bridges their own movie, but anyway, he’s pretty cheesed that The Rock gladly signed up. It’s a bit amazing that Gibson is this fired about The Rock, but he seems to have been sitting on some tension for a while and is finally letting it go. There’s no indication if Gibson is also mad at the fans who kinda wanted that Rock/Statham flick.

Who will fire the next shot in this ongoing battle? We’ll wait and see but it’s clear all is not well in the house that Vin Diesel built.

  1. One Baldo (Tyrese) is annoyed two Baldos (Statham and Johnson) are leaving the Baldo franchise as a result of King Baldo (Diesel) annoying Sweating Baldo (Johnson). This amount of drama only occurs when so many baldos congregate.
