‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Soundtrack Details Arrive, Listen To The First Pulse-Pounding Track

Yesterday, the collective jaw of the internet dropped when the totally bonkers new trailer for "Mad Max: Fury Road" arrived. Truly, we’re in for something special when George Miller‘s latest addition to his apocalyptic desert saga arrives in May, and the soundtrack will bring just as much fury as the images.

The full details have been revealed today for Junkie XL, aka Tom Holkenborg‘s 26-track strong soundtrack, and a little taste has arrived too. "Escape" sounds like exactly what you might think — loud, pulse-pounding, propulsive, and probably well suited to whatever mayhem Tom Hardy, Charlize Theron, and Nicholas Hoult will get into. And with some tracks breaking the eight and eleven-minute marks, it looks like the score will be every bit as epic as the movie.

"Mad Max: Fury Road" opens on May 15th. The soundtrack drops on May 12th, and you can preview it now on iTunes. Incidentally, in ‘Fury Road’ related news, it appears that the George Miller film will be the lucky Warner Bros.-affiliated movie that gets to debut the much-coveted "Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice" trailer.
