What’s summer without a little high-end crime? “Lying and Stealing” is an upcoming feature that will follow two beautiful miscreants as they strive to leave their respectively shady pasts behind. (Who can’t relate?) The film stars Emily Ratajkowski and Theo James and is by Matt Aselton (“Gigantic“). Ratajkowski is best known for her prolific modeling career and has walked runways in the world’s top fashion weeks. Her career as an actress took off with her appearance in Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines” music video and has since led to significant roles in “Gone Girl,” “Entourage,” and Amy Schumer‘s “I Feel Pretty.” James received wide recognition for his leading role as Tobias “Four” Eaton in the young adult “Divergent” series as well as his brief appearance in “Downtown Abbey.” Both stars are particularly noted for an edgy yet mainstream appeal, a quality that makes them a suitable fit in this crime-laden adventure.
