Luke Wilson, Zachary Quinto, Topher Grace, Johnny Galecki and Karyn Kusama…one of these people doesn't quite seem to belong (guess who?) but they are all banding together to make "Invitation."
The former Wes Anderson regular who needs a serious career makeover, the "Star Trek" star and producer behind the awards season sleeper hit "Margin Call," the guy who re-edited the "Star Wars" prequels, the star of "The Big Bang Theory" and the director of "Jennifer's Body" will team on the story about a man (Wilson) who is invited to a dinner party for his ex-wife (first warning sign), and over the course of the evening becomes convinced by the behavior of the guests that something insidious has taken hold of his former flame and everyone there has a terrifying, secret agenda. So yeah, just get ready to send this straight to VOD….
Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi, who paired on masterpieces like "Aeon Flux," "Clash Of The Titans" and "The Tuxedo" penned the script, so there's that too. Production begins this summer.
Not sure where zit ladden blogfucks get off calling working actors B-List. Talk yo shit smack when you've gotten a paying gig on a top rated sitcom at least once in your life. All y'all a buncha mofo bitch ass punks still living off momma's titty at age 30. B- list that skanks.
I love how the guy pointedly leaves out Crazy Beautiful, which is a damn good movie. Whatever, just more dreary intersnark. Movie itself could be interesting. Moving on.
I love how the guy pointedly leaves out Crazy Beautiful, which is a damn good movie. Whatever, this whole "article" seems quite off to me. Just more dreary intersnark. Movie itself could be interesting. Moving on.
Er guys you do realize THIS is an indie blog, so what are you all whining about him dissing indie films? Unfortunately that shows that you are fangurls who found this post whilst searching about your favorite star because if you'd bothered to read the title of the blog you are posting on, you will see it's speciality is exactly the kind of movies Quinto likes to make as a producer.
Anyway again from the post it seems he is dissing crap movies and crappy writers. And I can't help but agree re the writers for this. The dialogue for clash of the titans was abysmal.
It all sounds bizarre tbh but the Quinto may be all cool now, we can't forget that he was in Tori Spellings tv show…so….this movie goes in line with his muddied work history ( I guessed he was the odd one out as he is the only one starring in a blockbuster franchise and whose credibility is growing in Hollywood).
What's wrong with this post? This gang of B-actors is gonna shoot some assumed to be cool indie, besides Zachary Quinto seems enjoys playing some no name small indies, except Margin Call, which was produced by him also.
This piece seems to be about personal issues more than about the news itself. Did someone's ex not invite them to dinner? Or did the acting career not really take off? Glad to hear about the movie, not so glad to read the article.
Don't count it out yet!!!!Why do people always make asumptions on indi films.Just because they are!!!!
In the words of the great Gabe Toro is there a more punchable face then Topher Grace? Also: Luke Wilson, what happened?
