Stream Michael Giacchino’s Full Scores For ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ & ‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’

We hope Michael Giacchino spends the rest of July taking a nap, because the composer has been crazy busy. In the past few months he’s tuned up Colin Trevorrow‘s indie bomb “The Book Of Henry,” brought Peter Parker to life in this weekend’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming,” and in couple weeks we’ll hear his work again in “War For The Planet Of The Apes.” But if you want to treat your earbuds right away, the soundtracks for the latter two blockbusters are now streaming.

As packed as his scheduled might be, Giacchino’s work doesn’t suffer, and he’s able to swing easily from the lighter-on-its-feet ‘Homecoming,’ to the somber and serious ‘Planet Of The Apes.’ It’s deft stuff by the Oscar winner, who we won’t be hearing anything from until next year, where he’s got three major movies on his plate: “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom,” “The Incredibles 2,” and “How The Grinch Stole Christmas.”
