With the world watching the Rio Olympics, Disney is taking the opportunity of having a global audience to launch some new promos for their upcoming movies. Later this week will be a brand new trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” but first is another look at this fall’s “Moana.”

The new animated musical from the mouse house, featuring fresh songs from “Hamilton” star Lin-Manuel Miranda, and featuring the voices of Dwayne Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho, the story finds a teenager and a demi-god out on the sea, and riding into adventure. Here’s the official synopsis:
From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auli’i Cravalho) meets the once-mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity.
Directed by Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”), “Moana” opens on Nov. 23rd.
