True crime is all the rage nowadays, right? Whether it’s documentaries on Netflix and other streamers or limited series events with A-list casts, there seems to always be a new true crime story to get immersed into. In December, HBO is hoping to capture those true crime lovers, as well as people who enjoy watching talented actors, with the new series, “Landscapers.”

As seen in the new teaser for “Landscapers,” the limited series follows the fascinating true story of a married couple Chris and Susan Edwards, played by David Thewlis and Olivia Colman, respectively, who seems to be your typical, middle-aged folks. That all changes when two dead bodies are found buried under their garden, which leads the police to attempt to figure out what secrets the Edwards family is hiding.
In addition to the duo of Colman and Thewlis, the cast includes Kate O’ Flynn, Dipo Ola, Samuel Anderson, David Hayman, Felicity Montagu, and Daniel Rigby. “Landscapers” is created and written by Ed Sinclair. Will Sharpe directs the miniseries. The series marks his second project to get released in 2021, as he also wrote and directed the awards-contending feature, “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain.”
“Landscapers” debuts on HBO on December 6. You can watch the teaser below.
