Update: EW has confirmed the actresses will appear in the film. Roles have not been specified.
The sequel that no cares about, “Scream 4,” is hoping to get some star wattage (of sorts) by enlisting Kristen Bell and Anna Paquin in cameo roles in the film. The move recalls Drew Barrymore’s turn in the first film so expect both of them to be killed off in the film.
The two join a lengthy B-list cast that includes Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin, Nico Tortorella, Anthony Anderson and Marielle Jaffe, Marley Shelton, Adam Brody, Alison Brie, and Mary McDonnell along with original stars Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox and David Arquette.
In early July, there were rumblings of trouble on the set of the film, with original screenwriter Kevin Williamson leaving the film (and franchise) and Ehren Kruger (“Scream 3,” “Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen”) stepping in much to the chagrin some cast members who found their roles reduced or severely changed (Lauren Graham left the film as a result, while Hayden Panettiere was not pleased with the tweaks to her character). But with everything moving forward and things more or less quiet on the current shoot, we imagine any ruffled feathers have been smoothed over.

That no one cares about? Yet you're using it to grab hits because people do care about it. Ha.
You are also reporting a blatant unsubstantiated rumour, and have done no reporting here. I mean seriously if you have no idea if this is true, why are you reporting it?
Entertainment Weekly just confirmed.
