Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts isn’t done with CinemaSins. Yesterday, the filmmaker took the YouTube channel to task after they posted their takedown of “Kong: Skull Island.” The filmmaker’s complaint wasn’t so much that someone disliked his blockbuster, but the glib, sarcastic and often misinformed manner of the whole approach. It left a bad taste in his mouth, one that he tried to wash out with a series of tweets. With the dawn of a new day, Vogt-Roberts still has a few more things to get off his chest.
The director is back on Twitter, where he further explains why exactly CinemaSins rubs him the wrong way. Specifically, he’s galled by the incredible length of their videos, which routinely run more than 15 minutes long, and point to what he believes is “a rare combination of self importance and a lack of an ability to edit yourself.” Moreover, to those defending CinemaSins, Vogt-Roberts says “These guys aren’t just bad at what they do / contribute to the devolution of film criticism — they’re LAZY / hiding behind ‘satire’ & ‘jokes.’ ”
It’s more shots fired at the YouTube channel, which has yet to respond, though I’m sure they’ll have something snarky to say soon. Check out Vogt-Roberts’ latest tweets below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.

The problem with CinemaSins is not so much that it is satire but rather that it is bad satire.
Ugh. I don’t much care for cinema sins either but this is a terrible look for Vogt-Roberts. Don’t feed the trolls man.
cinemasins, honest trailers, all crap that do not deserve attention
I actually enjoy Honest Trailers. Not every one is a winner, but I think a lot of them are pretty funny.
Well, this ain’t exactly the Hatfields vs. McCoys…
