While the U.S. Justice Department investigates Jordan Belfort’s claim that he made no money on “The Wolf Of Wall Street”—he allegedly pocketed roughly $1.066 million—the actor who played Belfort’s right-hand man in the Martin Scorsese-directed epic hasn’t been shy about revealing the fee he received.
Jonah Hill sat down yesterday with Howard Stern for the infamous shock jock’s Sirius XM radio show (via Yahoo! Movies) and while talking about how badly he wanted to work Scorsese, the actor revealed that he was paid $60,000 for the seven month shoot. Although that may seem like a lot of money, keep in mind that it’s about $1 million shy of the fee paid to Belfort and well below the cool $10 mil Leonardo DiCaprio pocketed for the Oscar-nominated film. Then again, for all his troubles, Hill nabbed a second Oscar nomination last week for his underpaid role as Donnie Azoff and got to work with one of the greatest American directors of all time. It’s all about the little things.
As you sit there mulling over changing your profession, you may as well watch the latest clip from Scorsese’s greedy epic that features the underpaid Hill trying to lie to Rob Reiner’s face about all the money the firm’s been spending. “The Wolf Of Wall Street” is in theaters now.
Stop to figure out a place where you can watch the film because it is good.
bitch!!!
This film is very unusual for me, the first time I watched this film
Howard is infamous. stupid
Poor babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
I'd say that's roughly what he deserved.
Well if that's true Jonah Hill is great human being. He killed it in WoWS and deserved to be with the best right now.
