Time loops are a cinematic commonplace now, thanks to the likes of “Groundhog Day,” “13 Monkeys,” “Palm Springs,” “Source Code,” “Edge Of Tomorrow,” “Happy Death Day,” and “Russian Doll” (with Chris Marker‘s “La Jetée” the ur-text to them all). But 20th Digital Studios has a new, intimate twist for that kind of narrative in “Jagged Mind,” set to premiere on Hulu later this month.

The upcoming film stars Maisie Richardson-Sellers as a woman who begins to suffer blackouts and strange visions that feels like she’s living the same moments of her life over and over. Does her new girlfriend, Shannon Woodward‘s Alex, have something to do with it?
“Jagged Mind” also stars Rosaline Elbay, Kate Szekely, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Benjamin Valenzuela, and Brandie Huzzie.
Kelley Kali directs “Jagged Mind” as a feature, basing it off her short film “First Date,” which 20th Digital Studios included in their “Bite Size Halloween” anthology last year. Allyson Morgan pens the movie’s script. “Jagged Mind” joins “Grimcutty,” “Matriarch,” and “Clock” as part of 20th Digital’s exclusive slate of horror films for Hulu. Two more movies, “Appendage” and “The Mill,” will also premiere on the streamer soon.
