It’s Not A Crime: You Can Download The Script For David Fincher’s ‘Gone Girl’ Right Now

Gone Girl, If you haven’t already, you’re going to hear the words "For Your Consideration" a lot over the next couple of months. Studios, agents, PR companies, and more are galvanizing their efforts to push their contenders towards Oscar glory in all categories. But even if you’re not a registered member of the Academy, you’ll still get a chance check out some of the year’s best work for free.

20th Century Fox have got their campaigns rolling for David Fincher‘s "Gone Girl" and summer weepie hit "The Fault In Our Stars," and it looks like both they are hoping they will figure into the Best Adapted Screenplay race. And to that end, they’ve made the scripts for both — the former by author Gillian Flynn, the latter by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber — available to download for free.   1. Great script!!! So close to movie. Would love to see the 20 to 30 mins that are missing as the script is 163 pages and the movie is 148 mins. It was also great to see a screenplay this long as I am working on one that is 278. It\’s going to be broken into 2 movies. Thanks so much!!! It was fun.
