“Iron Man 2” is supposed to start shooting in April, right? Is anyone remotely concerned that the principle actors of the film have yet to get their scripts yet?
Gwyneth Paltrow, aka Pepper Potts, who plays Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey Jr.) faithful assistant hasn’t received on yet. Is it not complete or are they just keeping it under wraps until the last minute so the actors don’t need to learn their lines until the day they arrive on set?
“They haven’t even given me a script yet,” she told MTV. “They don’t tell me anything. I could be, like, a costume assistant in it. I know nothing.”
Well, she has at least some idea where the script is going or the direction of her semi-ambiguous, semi-romantic character relation with RDJ/Stark, right? “I have no idea what it is,” Paltrow said of the Potts/Stark will-they won’t they relationship. “Jon Favreau said it would be good, so I believe him.”
Mom told me there was an Easter Bunny too, look how horribly that turned out.
Well, such is the cattle-call nature of blockbusters. They NEVER give actors information until they’re practically on-set.
