Last week, the first trailer for “War For The Planet Of The Apes” landed, and to put it succinctly: it ruled. Matt Reeves is gearing up an intense battle for Caesar’s soul in the new movie, and if you wanted just a little bit more, a new international spot does the job.

This latest trailer keeps the grim and gritty tone, along with several major action sequences, from the original promo with some fresh footage peppered throughout. Woody Harrelson as the villain looks great, and the dark vibe of the whole thing feels earned, coming from a natural progression of the storyline, rather than just used as some kind of aesthetic without any narrative basis. In case you can’t tell, we’re really looking forward to this.
