If there was any doubt that HBO would continue the most successful show in its stable and a bonafide television phenomenon worldwide, you can rest assured that "Game Of Thrones" is not going anywhere.

On the eve of the sixth season premiere, the network has announced that the show has been renewed for season seven, which will arrive in 2017. However, HBO hasn’t revealed how many episodes will be produced for next year, with recent reports suggesting that in light of showrunner David Benioff maintaining that they’re only got thirteen more episodes left to go, the network might roll out two more shortened seasons, "Mad Men"-style. We’ll just have see.
Meanwhile, the network has also reupped acclaimed comedies "Veep" for a sixth season and "Silicon Valley" for a fourth, which should please fans of both shows plenty.
