So, the "Twilight" saga is over, right? Wrong. You see, Stephenie Meyer created a brand monster, and it's one that Lionsgate will want to keep milking cash out of. So this spring, they'll be asking Twihards to buy "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1" all over again. Why? For eight minutes of more footage. Woo!
The honeymoon set, babymaking penultimate film of the series will be released this spring on home video once more, this time in an Extended Edition. So what will it feature? We'll let director Bill Condon explain. “As Twilight series devotees know, there was a lot of ground to cover in adapting Breaking Dawn to the screen,” he explained. “Between the wedding, the honeymoon, the birth, and everything in between, naturally there were things that didn’t make it into our final cut. But I wanted to make sure that for all the Twihards out there, there was a chance to see some of these cut scenes – several of which are fan favorites from the book.”
So you tell us Twihards, what's missing? Between two movies covering the final book, we figured it was all there but we guess not. And we'd wager that there will probably be a 'Breaking Dawn – Part 2' Extended Edition followed by a combo set with both, and then a mega box set of some kind, with an super special edition with signed Robert Pattinson underoos or something.
If you've got money to spare, 'Breaking Dawn – Part 1' hits on March 2nd. [ComingSoon]
