Apparently nobody told Adrian Grenier, of HBO’s “Entourage,” that no one has the patience to sit through a documentary film anymore, because everyones favorite hippie is taking another crack at the documentary film medium, according to The Hollywood Reporter. His first attempt, “A Shot in The Dark,” followed Grenier on his search for his biological father and explored what is means to be fatherless.
His recent directorial endeavor is titled “Teenage Paparazzi,” and it stems from Grenier’s experience of being photographed by 14 year old future rehab patron
Austin Visschedyk. According to THR, the documentary will “Interweave the relationship portrait with philosophical interviews in the style of Richard Linklater’s ‘Walking Life.'”
Greiner’s interviews will feature such stars as Alec Baldwin, Whoopi Goldberg, Eva Longoria and many other celebrities to discuss the current culture of fame.
We aren’t quite sure what angle the film will take, but could it be that indictment of the disturbing teenage paparazzi culture that everyone will be craving this holiday season? Who knows, but THR says that the film is currently being shopped around and “might be unveiled as a feature or miniseries.”
