Got a Tip?

Grammy Winners Include David Fincher & Best Song And Best Score For ‘Skyfall’

null

So, last night was the Grammy Awards where Metallica played “One” with some dude on a piano, and people like Macklemore and Snarky Puppy were winners. Man, we’re getting old. But there were some awards worth keeping an eye on for movie fans.
In the smaller corners of the categories, David Fincher and “Skyfall” earned some wins. The former, despite getting his career started in music videos, delivering a handful of iconic cuts, won his first Grammy for helming the slick and smooth promo for Justin Timberlake‘s “Suit & Tie” (watch the video here). Meahwhile, thanks to the weird eligibility window, Adele took home Best Song Written For Visual Media with her title track for the Bond film from a couple years ago, while Thomas Newman took Best Score.
