The dystopian future of "The Hunger Games" has lots of things, including wild fashion, death matches between adolescents and apparently, a still Photoshop-obsessed culture hell-bent on airbrushing their celebrities into plastic-looking pod people.
On the almost eve of the Oscars, we're reminded that nominee Jennifer Lawrence has a big franchise led by her name, and a new poster for "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" is here to drive that message home. It's an invitation to see Katniss and Peeta on their victory tour, as they're now the beloved survivors of the 74th Hunger Games in which tree makeup proved to be a skill that saved the day. As was sitting around in trees. But of course, things won't get any easier for these potential lovebirds down the road.
The nearly year-long marketing campaign continues for the movie, which will hit theaters on November 22nd.
Isn't he about 6" shorter than her?
This completely fits the plot. Even a casual watcher of the movie, much less reader of the insanely popular books, would know this.
", a still Photoshop-ed obsessed culture, hellbent on airbrushing their celebrities into plastic looking pod people."
