#HappyInternationalWomensDay. That should bring out the trolls that are relentlessly against the all-female “Ghostbusters” franchise, right? But to pivot for a moment, in case you forgot (which I kind of did for a second), there’s going to be a “Ghostbusters” animated movie. Yes, like “Spider-Man,” Sony’s approach for their franchises these days is to make an live-action version for adults and an animated version for kids.

If you’re trying to keep count, Channing Tatum was once involved in a version with the Russo Brothers (“Captain America: Civil War”), but he’s since suggested he’s bowing out of that mix for now. So what is surviving of all the mooted “Ghostbusters” projects and the Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykroyd-led production shingle Ghost Corps?

It looks like the animated version. While Sony is prepping for the summer release of Paul Feig’s “Ghostbusters,” THR reports that the studio has hired Fletcher Moules, the on-the-rise animator and director behind the popular animated “Clash of Clans” commercial spots, to helm their animated movie.
Sony is obviously still trying to build their "Ghostbusters" cinematic universe, and this is step two beyond the female version opening in July. No plot details, but considering Aykroyd was once incredibly hot to get a “Ghostbusters” film going with the characters played by him, Bill Murray and Harold Ramis, it would not surprise in the least if the animated movies utilized those characters again (and of course can make them any age they want).
And meanwhile, in regular “Ghostbusters” news, a new international trailer has hit and features lots of new footage. Just remember, it’s not a sequel! “I know some people are gonna ask why is it not a sequel instead of a reboot? I didn’t like personally the idea of them being handed technology. Here’s how to do this. I wanna see it developed,” Feig told Slashfilm. “Ghostbusters” hits theaters July 15. Watch the new trailer, with new footage, below.
That is an impressive and enormous run-on sentence you have there, Frankie Smales.
the first trailer was met with such indignation over the issue with the opening
title card about four scientists save the world that wasn\’t true infact according
to the original there were only three are
Ray Stantz Peter Venkman and Egon Spengler
and Winston Zeddmore was an ex serviceman
but the main confusion is that fans are observant that the film was stated by Paul Feig is an Reboot but it had so many clichéd references to the original with
Slimer and Twinkie bars that you may think
that is a reboot disguised as an threequel but other complaints were it\’s edited like an summer action movie among others including that brightly neon coloured
ghost look too Scooby doo\’ish and something out of the haunted mansion and some bloggers including Bobby Burns stated
they looked like something from an Nintendo videogame but Sony is blatant
for removing negative comments via their
youtube page but many more edits to come for this trailer including sassy imagery
with issues of sexual references that lead the original movie ratings drop from PG to 12 by the British Board of Film Classification but this will be getting the same ratings but as fans concerned
that this film will be heading for a fall.
