We’re not sure what the criteria is (most liked? most shared? both?), but according to the rankings, it’s certainly not by quality that some of these entries are on there. "The Purge: Anarchy" (really people?) and "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" broke through on the movie list, while for TV shows "The Big Bang Theory" managed to outrank "True Detective," which should qualify as some kind of national crisis.
